Yarn Bowl

Opal and Tenmoku glazes, willow twig pin. 

Bowl holds a ball or a skein while the working end is fed out the spout and held in place by the pin.  If the yarn needs to be removed from the bowl before the piece is finished, the pin can be removed by rotating it clockwise.
